Welcome! Bonjour!

Hello! Welcome to this brand new blog where I will be sharing my discoveries and my thoughts.
I guess there is no right or wrong way to introduce myself, so I will start with 10 things about myself:

1. I have been living in London for over three years, and it really feels like home. I’ve studied at King’s and Imperial and now I’m working here.
2. I am half French and half Icelandic, but I grew up in Brussels. 
3. I love baking. I bring a batch of biscuits or brownies to share with my workmates almost every other week.
4. When I was younger I wanted to work in fashion, but I’ve ended up in marketing, which I really enjoy. My dream would be to combine the two!
5. I buy way too many black shoes. Somehow I find that they are all appropriate for different outfits/occasions! I need them all.
6. I love travelling so much. Recently I’ve really enjoyed Madrid and Lisbon.
7. My drink of choice will always be a gin cocktail, preferably with Chambord in it.
8. I’m a Burberry fangirl. Maybe more because it’s an amazing branding case study than because of the fashion (marketing nerd!).
9. Fun fact: I’ve had tea in the gardens of Buckingham Palace.
10. My favourite blogger is Garance Doré.
