How is it still so cold? It’s officially spring now, and I’m so excited for all the new-season trends like 70s-inspired items, everything suede, and button up denim skirts. I want to wear them all now! This is only my second outfit post since starting the blog, but I will do more once the weather warms up and I get to wear more exciting outfits. I’ll work on my poses too, I promise!
I braved the cold to meet the lovely Jess at the British Museum last weekend. I wore my new black suede skirt for the first time, and went for a slightly retro look with a billowy blouse and my favourite vintage hat. The suede skirt is vintage too, and it’s such a great find for under £30 from an Urban Outfitters sales rack.
Jess and I had such a fun afternoon at the British Museum, taking a million pictures and chatting about blogging. After shooting some outfit pictures outside we went inside to warm up and have a bite to eat. I found myself at the Great Court Restaurant once again, this time for lunch/cake rather than afternoon tea. Jess had a very healthy salmon fillet with kale, and I went for a deliciously rich chocolate and praline tart with hazelnut mousse. Everything came in the prettiest china – very ‘instagrammable’! I’m sure I’ll be back soon.
