Out of all the collections I’ve seen in the past year,
Saint Laurent Spring 2015 has got to be my favourite. It has that sexy glam-rock 70s vibe that I love; with sparkly skirts, sheer tops, metallic platform heels… what’s not to love? With green, red, blue, leopard, florals, and stripes there’s just the right amount of colour and mixing of prints to keep it really interesting. I can totally see Kate Moss wearing every one of these outfits. Hedi Slimane also brought back sheer black hosiery, which I would very much like to thank him for. He was apparently inspired by LA groupies dressed in Parisian couture. This collection inspired me so much that I decided to put together this style edit of pieces you can get on the high street to achieve that cool Saint Laurent girl look for less.

I think it’s so easy to take elements from this collection and make them your own (some say “democratic”). You probably already own a few of the items worn in the show, like a mini skirt or a striped top. All you need to do is sex it up a little bit with some leather, glitter, something sheer, or platform sandals!
What do you think of Saint Laurent’s collection?

June 15, 2015I love your equivalents! The third outfit has to be my favourite, I have one of the Topshop cropped camis already and they’re as comfy as they are stylish haha xx
